Palazzo Avino debuted its new Club House by the Sea in 2009, located a short 15-minute drive from the property's hilltop perch in Ravello. A boon for the property, this waterfront beach club is the first for any Ravello hotel and offers a seafront sanctuary for hotel guests to enjoy the very amenity so many visitors arrive to the Amalfi looking for, namely the sea. Constructed along a steep cliff in southern Marmorata, the oversize beach pad feels like a private villa that just happened to also be home to a casual café-style eatery serving light lunches of pasta, pizza and salads in one of the chicest settings on the Amalfi. The beach club, although entirely free of sand, is outfitted in a more-modern white-theme design with saltwater pool and waterfront lounge for all-day sun bathing. Afternoons are spent enjoying the sea from a rocky shoe, laying out or even on the bow of a Riva for one of the hotel's various tours along the surrounding coastline.
Tips
Sadly, the beach club is for guest-only of Palazzo Avino.
